PDO Thread Lift
|
The answer to loose and sagging skin. Absorbable Threads are gently placed to provide an instant lift to sagging skin
How long has PDO thread lifting been around?
PDO Threads are biodegradable sutures that have been FDA approved for decades in cardiovascular surgery. In 2015, the FDA approved the same suture for aesthetic treatments. Thread lifting can be used for treatments to the face, neck and body. Your skin fully absorbs it within 4 to 6 months & won’t leave you with any scar tissue. |
Are PDO threads FDA approved?
Yes, the use of PDO threads have been FDA approved as a Class II medical device.
How do PDO threads work?
A single thread is inserted into either a needle or a cannula during the manufacturing process and then sterilized. A single needle or cannula (thread) is individually inserted into the dermis and upon removal, the thread is left in place. Depending on thread type (Smooth, Twisted or Barbed) the thread is either left in place to promote collagen production or is pulled in an intended direction to produce an appearance commonly associated with lifting.
PRICING: Starts at $2650 for cheek/jowl lift. Usually recommend a consultation for full facial assessment for more detailed quote and treatment recommendation.
