Microcannula Technique. Here at Tre Medspa, Dr. B. Ngoc Pham specializes and offers the microcannula injection technique with most of dermal fillers, depending on the area. Not all medspas or clinics offer this specialized injection technique. It utilizes a blunt-tipped cannula to distribute and place the dermal filler product under the skin, which significantly reduces trauma to the injection area, therefore you will have less swelling/discomfort and bruising afterwards compared to the needle-only injection technique.
