Micro-needling is a procedure that makes micro perforations in the skin to help stimulate collagen. This treatment is a safe and effective treatment in acne scarring, anti-aging, reducing the appearance of surgical scars and stretch marks, skin resurfacing, and in the treatment of burns and other skin damage.
How it works? Micro needles in a small cartridge create invisible, micro perforations into the epidermis and top layer of the dermis. As a result, the skin shifts it's natural repair mechanism into high gear and starts producing collagen and elastin to repair these micro perforations. Activating cell regeneration, your skin becomes firmer and regains its elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced, pores become finer, circulation is stimulated and the overall condition of the skin improves. What results can I expect? Immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This is normal and will subside after 1 to 2 hours and will normally diminish within the same day or 24-48 hours. You may see slight redness after 24 -48 hours but only in minimal areas or spots. |
